Performance Rights and Conditions of Use

About Our Performing Rights and Conditions of Use

First the purchase of a script is for one customer only - i.e. it is not permissible to purchase the script and forward it to others.

Performance rights are important!

The scripts remain free of performance rights for staging in the class room. However if you intend to perform on a stage in front of a non-paying audience (a school assembly for instance) you need to buy a single Performance rights certificate to cover you for the play  you are purchasing. This certificate is valid for one performance of one play script. i.e. you will be able to stage and perform the play you have purchased once. Similarly for a paying audience.

If you wish to perform the same plays more than once  (by this we mean at different times during the year, as opposed to concurrent performances over say one week  which will be covered by the single license) you will need to buy an additional license for each performance.

Performance rights can be purchased by scrolling to the base of each product page were you will find a purchase screen similar to the one below:
